8th August 2004 Windsurfing: Newgale Wind Direction: se Wind Stength: 15+ Surf / Sea State: small waves/swell Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: rain,more rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Ye olde van was shaking all night whilst camping on beach front , up nice and early and wind was still ok , decieded to wait untill crew arrived before going out. Jamie made it up by 8.30 but was hungy so I done him a big brekie before giving the sailing a go . Managed an 1/2hr on the wave kit before it died , rest of crew arrived and there was,nt enought wind for a 7m (if u had one) , waited a while and it did fill in enough to get bach out for few hrs but it was gusty and noot that strong , it eventually swung around lot more southly which more or less killed it . never mind there another BIG ONE on the way . |
